The beginning of your company brand...

New business people love the idea of jumping right into getting a new logo made. Way more than just a pretty illustration, a company logo sets the tone for all marketing efforts and is the cornerstone of developing your company's "brand". In other words, successful business people don't take the process lightly.

We begin our process by meeting with you and learning more about your business. Is your business serious? Are you fun-loving? How do you interact with your client base? Do you deal with other businesses or the general public?

After assembling the information we need, we will begin our research process. We begin looking at other companies like yourself... not to copy, but rather to see what others have done, and GO THE OTHER DIRECTION. You want to stand out from the crowd...not blend in.

Once research is complete, the drafting process begins. Contrary to what you may think, effective design doesn't begin on the computer, but rather with a paper and pencil. A good designer will feel free to run with any idea that comes to mind and formulate a series of images. Very often, a final logo may consist of pieces of parts of individual ideas that come from this process.

After the sketching stage is complete, we will present a series of drafts (created in Adobe Illustrator) to the client. This begins the back and forth process of getting feedback from the client and going back to the drawing board. We are not afraid to push back if we feel that a client suggests something that we don't feel is the best idea...but we also know that the client is boss and they need to be happy with the final result. More often than not, the final logo is somewhere in between.
